Four days spent as an Autistic: what has this to do with Freedom

I spent 4 days concentrated on writing a memo for a large private organization. Writing suggestions on how they could draw the highest possibilities out of an initiative aimed at mobilizing a fairly large number of their employees, organised in transdisciplinary teams of 16 people, to come up with answers and proposals for progress on the theme of “Inventing Tomorrow”.

Now this is a very large organization, already undisputed leader in its field. I know why. It has a clear vision, shared by all, it has put its people on top of its values, and its ambition is focused “help the client passionately to live a better life”

How many organizations are there like that?  This makes me passionate, seeing that some organizations dare to move in the right direction. When I am passionate, I am like an autistic, I can be working, concentrating, be creative, with one goal in mind, writing something that makes sense that helps fantastic people to be even more fantastic, happy, and powerful. I am further motivated because I know that this organization is already diffusing its spirit to its clients, and to its social surrounding.  I was passionate because I knew they could do better, much more so, but that they would…

Because… Once you engage on such a path (this organization was engaged…), you know where you start, you never know where, nor when, you arrive, … and this is not important, since everyone keeps moving, growing, flourishing, developing, making new customers happy, increase the happiness of older-ones… making shareholders happy, making suppliers happy, making partners happy, creating a flow of positivity around them… applying PPPP principles without even knowing it. And obtaining incredible results, without being aware of it. The result of passion… The reason for passion, they love what they do, they love each other, they love their customers, and they love humans….

This organization I was working for these last 4 days, I would call on the way to creating a «Freedom organization”. Why “Freedom Organization”? Because I love the Book “Freedom, Free Your Employees and Let Them Lead Your Business to Higher Productivity, Profits, and Growth. The authors Brian Carney and Isaac Getz, have been on the outlook for the most successful and innovative companies in the World, and met at length with each, to discover their secret: All freed up individual initiative, allowed the risk taking instincts of all their people to express itself, listened deeply to employees, and employees listened deeply to clients… they felt equal amongst themselves, drawing their strength from harnessing diversity and differences. The culture of these companies was strong, could be felt as soon as one was in contact with any employee, discussed with any single customer, walked though any of its offices or plants… People lined up to join these companies, and an employee leaving was considered a failure for all…

Read this book, it will give you hope. Knowing that such companies exist, throughout the world, in all sectors of activity, very large companies, as well as smaller ones … That they are beating their competitors, whilst beating stress, on the contrary, all were making their people, clients, suppliers, allies, shareholders, communities  happy. This provides hope.

It shows that there is another way… Read this book, and let’s talk of what you find about its content….
