It is a very different experience after a day of encounters and discovery as rich as the Brower Center, EarthLink Institute, the Center for Ecoliteracy, The Bay Area Hub, Slow Money, Crushpadwine…to immerge yourself in what I would call the “Crowd of San Francisco” … Variaged certainly, a motley of people very different in every imaginable aspect… except this passion for the game.
Baseball is American, whose rules are too intricate to allow our Team Members to really understand what happenend on the field. I am not quite sure we understood and saw everything that happenend on the benches of this incredible stadium, with its magnificent view on the Bay….
A leap in deep America, Yes perhaps, save that It seems to Me, San Francisco is not quite America, it seems more a microcosm of the World, immerseds in a culture that we could only scrape the surface of …
We still have to debrief this experience… How can we possibly handle this overflow of impressions. It makes me compare our team as Martians discovering another planet…
Still two days to go after this experience… The sum of impressions will be very very powerful indeed to allow our team members to “Invent the Future”
Despondent Giants fall hard
The injury to San Francisco’s star catcher Buster Posey the night before hovers over the Marlins’ 1-0 victory

San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey could be lost for the season after breaking his lower left leg and tearing ligaments in his ankle in this collision at home with Florida’s Scott Cousins on Wednesday night.
SAN FRANCISCO » Florida Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria stood at the center of the visiting clubhouse, holding a Marlins cap in his hand and flashing a smile behind his sunglasses.
He was clearly the happiest person at AT&T Park.
With the home fans still stunned and saddened over the possible season-ending injury to star catcher Buster Posey, Anibal Sanchez threw a five-hitter for another complete game in San Francisco to lead the Marlins to a 1-0 win Thursday and cap a three-game sweep.
“The sweep here against a good team is great,” Florida manager Edwin Rodriguez said. “The down side is what happened the other night. Other than that, a good three wins.”
The injury to Posey hovered over the game well before the start.
