I’m reading Popular Resistance’s newsletter
I’m not (yet?) in the streets.
I remain very watchful though, and I sign petitions.
I try to work with and for everyone, from whatever side, with whatever worldview.
I am indeed fundamentally convinced that it is only by listening and responding to the various ways of looking at situations, opportunities, problems and solutions that we can move forward as Human Societies in an evolutionary Living World.
I support people who develop new possibilities: working from new paradigms (as Thomas Kuhn would say).
I support them because they are so often ignored, or ridiculed, or harshly opposed or even mistreated. The more they are, the more I believe they have some truth and will end up getting recognition: why otherwise oppose them?
I do believe however that in the end it is DOING that counts.
Doing things that are GOOD for everyone, society, nature, planet, life.
Doing things that resist ethical examination, that causes no harm, that charts a new course, that alters and dissolves the one we are following, in particular the Institutional/Technological Lock-Ins in which, at every level of our societies, we’ve trapped and enslaved ourselves into.
I deeply believe that a new way of living together on this earth is possible, that provides every and all human beings the basic needs to allow them to live a meaningful, dignified life and to auto-determine and develop it freely and autonomously.
I believe everyone on this earth can flourish and elevate her/himself to his/her highest potential.
I believe this is possible wherever you live, using only what is locally available, reconnecting with the local, historical, “material culture”.
I believe however this is only possible if we espouse and live according to a fundamentally new way of perceiving, thinking and acting.
